About The Client

The client is a social media startup focused on the tourism industry. It is a global community of explorers of all ages who create and share expeditions online. Users are able to start a new topic and interact with other travelers around it.
The Challenge
The main challenge was to manipulate several types of media in a fast and efficient way. Users are able to share from images, to videos, audios, notes, and even AI objects. They needed experienced professionals to succeed and we were ready to help them.
What we did
We created the iOS Mobile App from scratch with Swift. We were part of an international team, working with Agile Methodology to work smoothly and very close with the client. The MVVM architecture pattern was used. For the interface development, we switch from UIKit to SwiftUI, depending on the screen. We also used the Swift Combine framework.
Results & Takeaways
The project will help explorers to find a new way to travel. It will connect curious people from different backgrounds (from students to scientists). Expeditions will become stories that people can share with friends, family, and colleagues, or the whole community. It is a place for all observations, stories, discoveries, expeditions, and questions!
