Lightning Asset Management is a trading investment company that aims to power the finance industry with its advanced automation abilities. Their special algorithms optimize trades in order to improve the returns for their clients.
The Challenge
They needed a team capable of taking care of a complex AI project and create algorithms capable of automatizing stock market trades basing on trending topics on social media channels from scratch.
The biggest challenge that this project presented was the security required to work with trades. There’s no place for technical complications when it comes to investment.
What we did
We created scripts in Python/Django that will automatically run utilizing AI through Social Channels, Google trends, and some news portals. Once the topics are identified, the scripts will use natural language and sentiment analysis to determine if the impact of the trend was negative or positive on the market.
Results & Takeaways
From the start, our team worked on a custom-made solution for the client, not only thinking about the fastest way to have successful results, but also the easiest way for the client to manage the scripts in the future.
